On January 26th, the Shaanxi Province Uzbekistan Samarkand Enterprise Business Forum was held in Xi'an, China. Provincial Party Secretary Zhao Yide met with Governor Turzimov of Samarkand Oblast, Uzbekistan and his delegation. Governor Zhao Gang attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered a speech.
During the forum, Ms. Wang Xiaoyou, Chairman of Youzhijun Group, took the stage as a representative of a Chinese enterprise investing in Samarkand to give a presentation.
Wang Xiaoyou stated that since its establishment, Youzhijun Group has always adhered to the principle of "going out and bringing in" and carried out foreign exchange activities. Our friendship with Uzbekistan began in 2018. After more than 5 years of exchange and development, we are honored to serve as the Southwest Representative of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan and the Director of the Samarkand Prefectural Government's Representative Office in China. Through investment promotion and foreign trade, we have enhanced the connectivity between China and Uzbekistan.
Samarkand is a beautiful Central Asian pearl, the second largest city in Uzbekistan with a large population, huge investment potential, strong economic strength, and a historical and cultural heritage equivalent to Xi'an. It is a famous tourist city, where the mythological stories of "One Thousand and One Nights" and the prosperous scenery of the ancient Silk Road 2500 years ago are all vividly reproduced; Nowadays, the "the Belt and Road" policy has brought glory to Samarkand with its ancient charm.
On the basis of the rapid development of China Ukraine relations and with the full support of the Samarkand Khanate government, we have taken root and sprouted in Samarkand Khan, successfully registering local companies in various fields, including education, investment, international human resources, etc. Specifically, education refers to the joint construction of international universities and vocational schools with local governments, the introduction of China's higher education experience, and the cultivation of outstanding and internationally oriented comprehensive high-quality talents, providing talent support for their high-quality socio-economic development and practical exchanges between China and Ukraine. The investment mainly focuses on multiple industries and fields such as agriculture, real estate, healthcare, and new energy. Currently, multiple projects are actively being prepared and are about to start construction. International human resources mainly solve human resources and enterprise management issues for Chinese enterprises investing locally, including visas, company registration, legal affairs, taxation, etc., to improve enterprise management efficiency.
The two heads of state announced that China and Ukraine have decided to develop an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, and to promote the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Ukraine from a higher starting point. We will also always shoulder the mission of bridging, carry forward the spirit of historical inheritance and innovation, actively build a more perfect exchange platform, and jointly build the "the Belt and Road" with high quality, making unremitting efforts to achieve common prosperity and development for both sides!
During the forum, more than 30 enterprises from China and Ukraine conducted economic and trade docking and negotiation activities, and Youzhijun Group introduced the Governor and Deputy Governor of Samarkand and the Chairman of Shaanxi Foreign Trade Group, Peng Lei, for preliminary discussions on docking.
After the business docking meeting, His Excellency Turdimov, Governor of Samarkand Oblast in Uzbekistan, presented Ms. Wang Xiaoyou with a gift with Uzbekistan characteristics.
